FARGO Bagpipes welcomed over one hundred people to the fountains of Lindenwood Park Friday, May 14, where the bell tolled for officers lost this past year, not just those on duty, but for those lost during the pandemic as well. This year, the covid deaths in the line of duty certainly escalated quite high, said Mike Clower of the Fargo Police Department. Watching the ceremony was 19-year-old Anna Clower, who is responsible for a display of more than 200 crosses she cut, painted and put together as part of a Girl Scout project. It was important to her because her father has been a Fargo Police officer for years.
