The RNLI crew from Kinghorn rescued two kayakers from Inchkeith Island on Saturday afternoon. Pic: RNLI Kinghorn TWO Kayakers had to be rescued on Saturday afternoon after getting into difficulties near Inchkeith Island. The Kinghorn RNLI Lifeboat was called out at 3.20pm after the two men s inflatable kayak had capsized. The men managed to get to Inchkeith Island where they raised the alarm using their mobile phones. The lifeboat arrived at around 3.37pm and found the two casualties out of the water at the bottom of a cliff on the west side of the island. They were brought onto the lifeboat and checked over before being taken to Kinghorn where an ambulance crew was waiting to assess them.
