Dozens of volunteers from around the tri-state area arrived in Orchard Beach Sunday to help clean up on land and water.
Mike Carew has been organizing the cleanup, now in its 11th year, since it first began. We ve got people from the Boy Scouts from Chatham, New Jersey, the Coastal Stewart from Mount Sinai, Long Island, Jersey, Pennsylvania, all over Westchester, he said.
Divers say one of the biggest things they re finding underneath the water are masks, which is something they want people to be conscious of this summer when they head to the beach.
