Versailles Council discusses pool reopening, equipment Village of Versailles Council members and administration discussed the swimming pool’s anticipated opening and equipment purchases. Carol Marsh | Darke County Media VERSAILLES Issues surrounding the reopening the municipal pool, water and sewer drainage, and replatting of land parcels were among the top items on the agenda for discussion at Wednesday’s Versailles City Council meeting. Those in attendance were Mayor Jeff Subler, Village Administrator Mike Busse, Council Members Cory Griesdorn, Jeff Beasley, Lance Steinbrunner, Mike Berger, and Todd Dammeyer. Also in attendance were Fiscal Officer Kathy Ording and Village attorney Tom Guillozet. Scheidler (Jan. 18), the founder and national director of the Chicago-based Pro-Life Action League, and Michael C. Busse Jr. (Jan. 4). I worked for the Pro-Life Action League for several months about 20 years ago. I’m glad I had that opportunity. You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone more dedicated to fighting the evil of abortion than Joe Scheidler. He was far more thick-skinned than I am, and – let’s face it – being thick-skinned is a requirement to be an effective pro-life activist in our culture of death.

WHIZ News Brush Creek Township To Give Away Protective Masks BRUSH CREEK, Ohio-The board of trustees for Brush Creek township have acquired a significant amount of protective masks to be passed out for free.  The masks are just standard paper protective masks to combat the spread of COVID-19. Trustee Mike Busse tells us where and when to get the masks.  “It’s gonna happen Sunday, December 27th from noon to two, so it’s a two hour event at Township Garage which is located at Cannelville, 4400 Cannelville Road. You don’t even have to get out of your vehicle, just drive by, we’ll come and give you one of these boxes of masks.”, Busse told WHIZ.
