The Artist Spotlight featured the Toronto-based band One In The Chamber and their latest single, “To The Gallows.”
Drummer Gerrod Harris shared this about the song:
“As a band, we are influenced by a wide range of artists and styles; however, “To The Gallows” is much of more of an alternative inspired track compared to much of our previous releases. Instrumentally, while jamming and writing this song, I heard a big Alice In Chains and Deftones influence in the use of dynamics and haunting tones, but Mike Biase’s vocals bring the song back to our Zeppelin roots and in line with our style. That being said, “To The Gallows” remains one of our most unique songs when compared to past releases.
