CARLOS CORONEL - 6.7
Mike Battista: The backline fell apart as the match went on and injuries forced subs which made Coronel’s performance even more admirable. The post saved him in that second half but a point is a point.
JOHN TOLKIN - 6.7
Brit Byrd: Great to see the youngster hold steady in a tough, ugly game on the road.
ANDRES REYES - 6.3
Juan Mesa: He makes Tolkin’s job easier with his anticipation and quality on the ball. Let’s hope his injury is a minor one.

CARLOS CORONEL - 4.6
Juan Mesa: His mistake on Buchanan’s goal is arguably as decisive for the game as Reyes’ second yellow.
John Perdicaro: For a guy that’s coming from the mothership and has Champions League experience, he makes a lot of sloppy mistakes. The Buchanan goal makes you wonder how much longer of a leash he has.
KYLE DUNCAN - 4.8
Juan Mesa: He can’t play LB, but was important in that 3 men defense Struber put for the second half.

CARLOS CORONEL - 6.5
Lenz Ong: Just a week after I praised him for keeping it tidy at the back, some real nervy moments at the back with his distribution today. Some questionable decisions that pinned his defenders back and generated some sketchy turnovers. Also tended to overhit his short passes. Could consider himself a bit lucky to come away with a second consecutive clean sheet, but hopefully it’s just an off day.
Juan Mesa: Issues in distribution but what a ball to Yearwood for the second goal.
ANDREW GUTMAN - 6.7
Brit Byrd: Not a center of attention like the first three matches but still solid.

CARLOS CORONEL - 6.7
Lenz Ong: Not really called upon much, but tidy distribution helped to beat the Chicago press, and was alert off his line throughout to sweep up danger. Nice to see him bag his first clean sheet.
Mike Battista: There were only five shots on net but I can’t
not give him credit. The Brazilian made a handful of great saves to keep the clean sheet.
ANDREW GUTMAN - 6.9
