Re “On the right and the left madness the norm” (Jan. 14): I’m sorry but madness in America right now comes exclusively from the right as well as the political violence part. The right tries to portray the Jan.6 insurrection as if it were some kind of tea party or a left-wing false flag when in reality the insurrectionist-in-chief, Donald J. Trump, now seeks credit for the attempted coup as well as argue that it was his right, due to Article 11, to do “whatever he wants.” It infuriates me when people try to claim both sides are doing it.
