March 4, 2021 at 9:00 am On Thursday, March 4, 2021, the Department of Water Supply will conducting fire hydrant flow tests in S. Hilo and North Kona between 10:00p.m. and 11:00p.m.  Affected areas may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test. Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal. Affected areas in South Hilo include the Sangha Hall Property between Kīlauea Avenue and Kinoʻole Street and between Kūkūau Street and Aʻala Lane before Hualālai Street.
