Following a speech from MP Olena Shuliak, head of the visiting delegation from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Riigikogu on Thursday unanimously adopted a statement on the Russian Federation's war crimes and genocide in Ukraine.
25 members of the Riigikogu from three parties have formed a support group to protect Estonia's interests within the European Union's climate package. The aim of the group is to develop proposals for Estonia's position on the package.
Russia's demands should not be a basis for negotiations and NATO's Eastern Flank needs immediate reinforcement, the Riigikogu's Foreign Affairs Committee agreed on Thursday.
