Chahid El Hafed, Feb 15, 2021 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Gali has received a message of gratitude from his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Republic of Cuba, for the cordial congratulations on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
The Cuban president confirmed the will of his Government of to strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation between Cuba and the SADR.
Since the Caribbean nation recognized our country in 1980, Cuba and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) agreed to establish high-level diplomatic relations with embassies in their respective countries. SPS
CARICOM, Cuba heads meet as virtual summit gets underway

On Tuesday December 8, Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves addressed the opening of the 7th Summit of Heads of States and Governments of the Caribbean Community and the Republic of Cuba.
This edition of the Summit was held virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic with the Vincentian delegation participating from Cabinet Room in Kingstown. Prime Minister Gonsalves delivered remarks in his capacity as Head of Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines as well as the current Chairman of CARICOM.
