Experts at a seminar titled Navigating New Horizons: The Evolving Patterns of Keralas Migration Landscape highlighted that factors such as citizenship, wage disparities, work-life balance, belief in legal protection of human and labor rights, and dissatisfaction with political and social conditions in the country contribute to increased migration to Western nations.
According to the report, there has been a 50 percent increase in the migration of blue-collar workers from India to the GCC in the first seven months of 2023.
