mad at them for actually jumping on board this idea of abolishing i.c.e. democrats right now can actually look tougher on national security and border security if they play their cards right. that was a mig mistake. it was an unforced error. but i think a lot of democrats would not say what they had said. i.c.e., under the obama administration, had a narrower focus. it is an agency of 20,000 people, and under the obama administration, i.c.e. went after violent criminals. what democrats should say is rather than abolishing i.c.e. or replacing it with something else, just go back to what the obama administration did. but i do think gillibrand and warren did a disservice to their democratic colleagues and other democratic candidates for office this year. do you agree, john? well, if elizabeth warren and kirsten gillibrand define the democratic party with that call to abolish i.c.e. and establish somehow that that s the democratic party position, that could hurt them at the election. e
