McGowan Government continues support of three-year Regional Athlete Support Program
Funding agreement through Royalties for Regions
Assists delivery of high-quality training and development for regional athletes
The McGowan Government will continue to support the Regional Athlete Support Program (RASP), with $3 million of funding delivered over three years through Royalties for Regions.
The RASP funding agreement will assist in the delivery of a high-quality daily training environment for regional athletes through the program’s Regional Talent Development Network (RTDN) and Regional Athlete Travel Subsidy Scheme (ATSS).
The RTDN comprises nine regional academies and sport talent networks across Western Australia.
These academies and networks provide services and programs that contribute to the development of athletes, coaches and officials who are part of a sports talent development pathway.
