The county has 22,412 positive cases and the death toll is 601.
In Luzerne County, there are currently 131 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, 23 adult patients are in ICU and 11 require the use of a ventilator.
To date, 20,439 county residents have received partial vaccinations and 4,718 have received full vaccinations.
Statewide there are 6,036 additional cases, bringing the total to 824,405.
The state reported 198 new deaths and the death toll is now 21,303.
There are 3,691 patients currently hospitalized in the state, 753 adult patients are in ICU and 435 require the use of a ventilator.

In Sussex County, 50 cat shelters will be donated to cat colony caretakers who desperately need protection for their colonies.
