Nature's Palette: handmade watercolor painting class Join us for a Catskills-centric event that offers the chance to pulverize rocks into powder, learn how to make watercolor paint, and create your own art work from the results! New Paltz, NY-based artist and teacher Laura Leigh leads a hands-on workshop outdoors, bringing with her a colorful collection of sedimentary rock and clay from the Catskills Mountains and surrounding areas that participants will turn into paint - to be used during the second half of class. All supplies will be provided, and no experience in painting is required. Iced coffee, mimosas and other refreshments to accompany the morning's creativity!
