A Chicago real estate company that develops and acquires multifamily and student housing projects is entering the Colorado Springs market in a big way.
Jackson Dearborn Partners plans three apartment projects that would add a combined 892 units in downtown, on Colorado Springs’ northeast side and in the unincorporated Cimarron Hills area of El Paso County, according to proposals it’s submitted to city and county officials.
The company would join several out-of-state apartment developers who have invested in Colorado Springs in recent years, saying they were attracted, in general, by the city’s desirability as a place to live.

DALLAS - The city of Dallas is hosting four pop-up vaccination clinics this weekend in an effort to make sure everyone has the opportunity to receive what Mayor Eric Johnson calls a lifesaving shot.
The Moderna vaccine will be available at all four of the city’s pop-up sites. No appointments are needed.
The Omni Hotel in Downtown Dallas began distributing vaccines primarily to hotel and restaurant hospitality workers early Friday morning.
Another clinic will be set up at the Galleria Dallas across from the mall’s ice skating rink. The shots will be available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.

The city of Dallas will offer free vaccines to protect against COVID-19 this weekend. The Moderna vaccine is the one that will be administered and no appointments are necessary.
Here are times and locations:
May 7-8: Galleria Dallas (Ice Rink Level), 13350 Dallas Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75240 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
May 7: Omni Hotel, 555 S Lamar St. 6 a.m.-9 a.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Note: this event is intended to help vaccinate downtown hospitality workers.
May 8: Valenceo @ Midtown Apartments, 7222 Fair Oaks Ave. 10 a.m.- 7 p.m.
May 8: Bx5 Apartments, 9669 Forest Lane 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
