Throughout June and midsummer supporters are being challenged to complete 75 miles to raise vital funds to help seriously ill local children and their families. The route will take walkers a virtual scenic route from Conwy to Oswestry, the homes of Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith. By using a live leader board those who sign up will be able to track their progress as they put the miles in, passing milestones and seeing where other participants are up to.

Inspirational Elodie completes amazing 10-mile hike for Hope House

A WREXHAM teen who struggles to walk more than a few steps due to her lung and heart conditions has completed a remarkable 10-mile hike in support of Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices. Elodie-May Davies, 14, signed up of the charity’s Take A Hike event which encouraged people to go out and do a 10-mile walk in their local area, raising more than £33,000. Elodie, who lives with her family in Ruabon, has had heart defects since birth which have led to a cardiac arrest, clots in her lungs and mini strokes. She has been through 10 open heart surgeries, and has a pacemaker fitted.

Throughout the month of June and midsummer people are being challenged to complete 75 miles to raise vital funds to help seriously ill local children and their families. The route will take walkers through a virtual scenic route from Conwy to Oswestry, the homes to Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith.
