In a statement, flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) informed the traveling public about the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging and Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) new protocols. PAL said that effective January 23, 2021, passengers arriving in the Philippines from countries covered by travel restrictions shall be given RT-PCR testing upon arrival and shall be given the option to avail of a second swab test on their fifth day of quarantine.
