SAGINAW, MI - A Midland warehouse that caught fire Monday, April 5 is likely a total loss, the city’s fire marshal said.
Midland Compounding & Consulting’s warehouse, located at 3810 James Savage Road, was surrounded by fire crews for nearly 12 hours Monday. The fire was difficult to fight because of the amount of plastic in the warehouse, Lelo said, but crews were able to contain it and left the scene at around 6 p.m.
“Our crews were able to stop it in the building of origin, and we prevented it from spreading to either of the two buildings that were attached,” Lelo said. “That building is most likely a complete loss.”
