The Sustainable Business Network of Detroit will work to bring the region as a whole to more sustainable business practices while creating new opportunities for bottom-line and top-line growth for companies, said Neil Hawkins, president and COO of the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation, which convened the network s founding group. It will create a platform for companies of all sizes, nonprofits and academics to focus on expanding sustainable business practices and accelerating progress toward them through collaboration.
