BC Wildfire Service photo The Regional District of Central Kootenay wanted to relay the information to the public regarding fires of note in the Southeast Fire Centre. Trozzo Creek Wildfire The Trozzo Creek wildfire, located approximately 7.5 kilometres northeast of Winlaw, is active and is currently listed as a wildfire of note by BCWS. Crews continue guard construction on Elliot Anderson Ridge, South Lemon drainage and along the Lemon Forest Service Road, while holding current containment lines on the west perimeter in the Trozzo drainage. The fire growth is toward the east (Baldface Creek) and south (Sproule Creek).
