Married couple makes helping the poor their mission

BATU PAHAT – Having experienced hardship married couple from Taman Bistari, Tongkang Pechah here are now more empathetic towards the poor.
Nadia Amira Nordin, 32, who runs a hardware shop said she and her husband Md Hairul Md Noh, 37, had once faced a difficult moment in their life when they had to sell all their assets to survive.

The mother of two said it all happened when both of them lost their jobs about five years ago due to their company’s downsizing exercise.
She said they then decided to open a hardware business, Mideck Dekorasi using their own savings.
