The unconference, which had been offered face-to-face in prior years, received great responses from attendees parents and families of students with special needs. Among the concerns of many parents is the feeling of being isolated, and not knowing where to go or who to call for help. Our children’s needs are literally “special,” and there is rarely an obvious solution to some of the more unique challenges our children face.
