A DARLINGTON s Head of Steam railway museum has opened a new exhibition has opened to welcome visitors back after the Covid-19 lockdown. All Aboard at Darlington s Head of Steam museum is set to celebrate children s railway stories from The Railway Children to Thomas the Tank Engine, allowing people of all ages to find a story from their childhood. The event was co-curated by local children at Mowden Primary School and Reid Street Primary School after they chose their favourite railway stories. Meanwhile, pupils from St George s Church of England and Middleton St George Day Nursery created train-themed bunting which now decorates the museum.
