It is essential we fight for not only our identity but also fight for the identities of the people around us. An example in the past was the Famous Five, a group of women committed to fight for the worth of women s identity. Together the Famous Five has given women more rights, freedom, and have established law protecting women s identity in Canada. Similar to that now Syrian refugeeâs identities have been misjudged and because of that, they have been mistreated. In the same way, helping others makes up your identity. Overall our Identity has a crucial part in our life since our identity gives us our rights, it can lead to mistreatment if not understood right, and lastly how we treat others in a community.
