The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has advised young Nigerians against travelling overseas without proper background checks on the people luring them with job offers. NAPTIP gave the advice amidst the outrage that trailed a video of a Nigerian lying on a busy road in Bahrain, lamenting after he was allegedly scammed by people who probably took him to the Middle East Island country.
