SEVIERVILLE — UT Medical Center is working on a major expansion of its urgent care and primary care center on Middle Creek, just six years after it opened the facility. They’re adding a new, two-story wing to the building, covering about 18,410 square feet of space. The plans include more offices for primary care physicians as well as more space for the specialists that come to the facility to see patients, said Dr. Steven Ross, senior vice president for strategic development for the University Medical System. It will also include a new pharmacy and relocation for the urgent care center. “We’re making it larger and we’re moving to the front so it will be visible from Middle Creek Road,” he said.
