A man accused of killing two of his relatives has pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect in Brown County Circuit Court.

JANESVILLE, Wis. The Janesville Police Department responded to a stabbing at Kwik Trip Saturday night and arrested the suspect.
Officers found an 18-year-old male victim with a stab wound on his face.
Witnesses were able to give a description of the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle.
According to police, they found the suspect’s vehicle traveling on Milton Ave. They arrested a 17-year-old male for Reckless Injury.
The incident remains under investigation.

Authorities have issued two citations against East Dubuque Mayor Kirk Van Ostrand for crashing into another vehicle while leaving a supper club, then driving away. VanOstrand was cited in Grant County Circuit Court with failure to notify police of a crash and failure to yield while emerging from a nonhighway access point. No injuries were reported from the February 19th crash on Highway 35. A court hearing on the citations is set for April 12th.
