(Photo provided/ David Russell) With many efforts already in progress to increase broadband connectivity in rural Michigan, another plan is in the works from one of the state’s congressmen. U.S. Rep. John Moolenaar, who represents Michigan’s 4th Congressional district which covers parts of 15 counties in the central and northern regions of the Lower Peninsula, recently announced the Broadening Online Opportunities through Simple Technologies Act, which would help homeowners cover the cost of connecting online.
