The COVID-19 delta variant continues as the dominant strain in both Kansas and Missouri.Doctors at the University of Kansas Health System on Tuesday said they re seeing a higher number of inpatients because of the strain.Twenty-eight people with the active COVID-19 virus are in the hospital. That s up from five just a few weeks ago. Most of those people are not vaccinated, doctors say.
