Michigan Set to Reach 6 Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered April 20, 2021 Michigan is set to pass six million total COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on Tuesday. The state has also partnered with the federal government to attain more life-saving therapeutic treatments that will help keep people out of the hospital, but they say vaccinations remain the focus. Michigan has consistently exceeded Governor Whitmer’s daily goal of 100,000 shots in arms. The state says the most recent million doses were administered in just 11 days. Right now 45% of eligible Michigan residents have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine and 30% are considered fully vaccinated.
