On February 13, Michiganders will see several new gun laws go into effect, revolving around universal background checks, safe storage requirements, red flag laws and limits on domestic abusers
With new gun laws proposed in Michigan, state representatives want residents to know the information about what is and isn’t legal and how these laws will impact their right to carry.
Now that a red flag bill has passed the Senate, and waits to be signed into law by Governor Whitmer, Livingston County Sheriff Mike Murphy says he doesn’t plan on enforcing a law that he doesn’t think is right.
