So, first off, well start with this. Health officials in seven bay area counties have extended their stay in place now, moving forward some of the new rules here. Playgrounds and dog parks are closed. Golf courses, tennis and basketball courts, pools and rock climbing walls are also closed. We spoke with people who are not happy about this. Closing the dog park seems draconian. Do we need to do that . When you are walking on a trail, how often do you get within six feet of people . I will support it, but im not happy about it. I would assume it is based on valid data. Essential businesses like Grocery Stores can stay open, but they must have social distancing protocols and limits on buying certain items and you cannot bring reusable bags. Weeks. Locally, california schools may not reopen for the rest of the school year. This according to the state superintendent because of the current social distancing guidelines.
