The identity of the man who killed Michelle Marie Veal more than 25 years ago is now known, according to investigators with the Sonoma County Sheriff’s.
DNA matches a now-dead felon with a long criminal history to the 1996 murder of 32-year-old Michelle Marie Veal (Hinojos) of Union City. Her body was found nude on the side of the road and her neck had been broken.
