The Daily Herald With a growing expectation that Maury County s government will need every square-foot of its downtown office space, the Maury County Commission took its first step in discussing a new location for the county s UT Extension office. Located on the second floor of 10 Public Square at Columbia s Courthouse, the office currently occupies 3,600-square feet of county-owned office space, leased at no cost.  That is a lot of space that we are going to need eventually, said Don Morrow, chairman of the Maury County Commission. Everything is growing. Everybody is adding employees. An outreach branch of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, the Maury County Extension Office directly serves as a local resources center for those working in agriculture.
