Mum pleads guilty to shoplifting from Kmart, Officeworks and Priceline stores on NSW Central Coast

A mum-of-six who stole more than $5,500 in goods from multiple stores was struggling to cope with a crippling drug addition after her husband left her for her best friend at the time of the shoplifting spree, a court has heard. Leah Michelle Floyd pleaded guilty to more than a dozen shoplifting offences in Wyong Local Court on the New South Wales Central Coast on Monday.   The court heard Floyd stole products from stores including Kmart, Officeworks, David Jones and Priceline between July 2020 and January this year, the Central Coast Express Advocate reported.  During the six-month crime spree, the 37-year-old stole baby products worth $611 from the Kmart store at Bateau Bay Square and shoplifted a $700 six-piece cook set from Robins Kitchen.
