IN March 2019, former Saltaire Cricket Club captain Micheal Eglin sadly passed away, and Saltaire s current squad are eager to win the title for him. Saltaire currently sit at the summit of the Airedale & Wharfedale Senior Cricket League, and there is optimism around the camp, that this year could be their year. The Bradford club s rivals Otley, continue to chase them down, and after they were defeated by the former in a recent fixture, pressure is building, as Saltaire look to pick up a victory this weekend against Rawdon.
