WATERTOWN â A motivational speaker since he was 19 years old, Michael L. Nelson, known as âThe Motivator,â has made it his mission to inspire as many people as he can with his words and keys for success.
Early Monday afternoon, WPBS-TV hosted an event titled âStudent Success Seminar with Mike the Motivator,â which was streamed and broadcast from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Viewers were encouraged to tune in and watch Mr. Nelson, 32, as he encouraged students to succeed in school and be the best they can be during the free seminar, working to motivate the current and next generation of students.
Mr. Nelson said nine times out of 10, heâs speaking to audiences of students at schools, colleges and educational programs.
The pandemic hit Montana hard.
No effective vaccine was in place. People ignored quarantine orders as state health officials pressured local authorities to close bars, churches, schools and other places where crowds normally gathered.
Doctors and nurses were in short supply and exhausted by the caseload. Some Montana counties had no medical personnel at all. One city required some public workers to wear face masks, but made it optional after receiving complaints that the masks were causing headaches and eyestrain.
No one was immune as even the lieutenant governor became ill. Native American populations were hit hard.
Although this may sound familiar, this is not from 2020, nor 2019.
