This redress would not have happened without a similarly unprecedented decade-plus of federal litigation, nor without the tenacious pro bono efforts, both in and out of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, of Kirkland & Ellis LLP partner Michael D. Jones.

Jan. 20 The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the two people killed in a house fire last Friday in Boise. Just before 4 a.m. Friday, Boise firefighters were sent to a home in the 2800 block of Lemhi Street and found heavy flames pouring out of the structure. BOISE, Idaho The Ada County Coroner s Office has released the names of two people who died after their home caught fire early Friday morning.
The victims were identified as 63-year-old Michael D. Jones and 60-year-old Laura Lindsay of Boise.
The fire broke out at 3:46 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Lemhi Street, just off of Vista Avenue. By the time crews arrived, the inside of the house was filled with flames.
