There were at least 12 EF-0 tornadoes among the storms that blew through Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa overnight Friday, May 24, the National Weather Service has confirmed.
A low-pressure weather system moving out of eastern Nebraska is expected to give way to a week of "gorgeous weather," according to a National Weather Service meteorologist in Valley.
Monday’s record high temperatures may have felt like spring, but a cold front will move into the area Tuesday and bring at least a couple more days of winter weather.
