EAST LIVERPOOL In East Liverpool Municipal Court, John Sullivan, of Vine Street, was sentenced to $225 plus costs and 180 days in jail on charges of violating a protection order (two counts), hit-skip and failure to maintain an assured clear distance. A review hearing is set Dec. 3.
Brandon D. Savin, of Valley Avenue, was sentenced to $500 plus costs and 180 days in jail (30 days imposed) on violating a protection order and domestic violence.
Michael A. Stover, of Thomas Road in Lisbon, is set for a motion hearing June 8 on charges of OVI and possession of marijuana.
Brendon M. Carr, of Commerce Street in Wellsville, is sentenced to $575 plus costs and 30 days in jail (three days imposed) on charges of OVI, possession of marijuana and failure to control. His review hearing is set Aug. 6.

EAST LIVERPOOL In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Forrest L. Nicholson, Lincoln Avenue, was fined $350 and given 40 community service hours and 90 days in jail (10 imposed) on an assault charge.
Stephanie A. Barnes, Echo Dell Road, was fined $375 and given 20 community service hours and 120 days in jail (all suspended) for license plate light (two charges), failure to signal, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
Jay D. Hackathorn, Bradshaw Avenue, was fined $150 and given 20 community service hours and 30 days in jail (all suspended) for theft.
Donald Weyand, Moore Street, was fined $750 ($600 suspended if the defendant comes into compliance with city code) for property maintenance, maximum height weed and a housing code violation.

LISBON A March 15 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Jordan L. Gainer, 32, Smithfield Street, East Liverpool, charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony, as well as misdemeanor citations of permitting an operator to drive without a license, failure to display a valid sticker, failure to control, seat belt violation, two counts of reckless operation, two counts of improper passing, speeding, two counts of traffic control devices and a turn signal violation. On Oct. 17, Gainer allegedly fled from Wellsville police in a red Ford Escape, passing vehicles on a two-lane road, before continuing up on state Route 7, where the vehicle was found flipped on its roof and up against a telephone pole. Gainer reportedly was found lying on the sidewalk next to the vehicle.
