Innocent stars Jamie Bamber and Priyanga Burford have revealed how they were helped to film a sex scene by an intimacy coordinator, a girdle and “really big pants”.
The ITV drama’s script required the pair to romp on a flight of stairs and producers hired coach Roisin O’Donovan to choreograph the scene to make it realistic and help the actors feel comfortable.
The practice is becoming increasingly common in the film and TV industries.
But it was a new experience for Jamie, 48 – father to three teenage daughters.
