A tier of the south stand at the Allianz Stadium will be closed for Juventus’ next home game as punishment for the racist abuse Romelu Lukaku received during the 1-1 draw in Tuesday’s semi-final first leg against Inter Milan. They also plan to ban two supporters following the incident.
Lukaku scored a 95th-minute penalty in the match and was then shown a second yellow card for his celebration which included putting a finger to his lip. He also used this celebration while on international duty with Belgium. He has been banned for one game.
Tempers flared on both sides at the final.
