On Sunday,
P!nk took to Twitter to speak out against the Norweigan female beach handball team being fined for opting to wear shorts instead of bikini bottoms.
P!nk said she was “VERY proud” of the team for “PROTESTING THE VERY SEXIST RULES ABOUT THEIR ‘uniform.’” In the same tweet, she offered to pay for the team’s fines, adding that the European Handball Federation should be the ones to pay.

Pink has offered to pay the fines of a Norwegian female handball team who protested having to wear bikini bottoms.
The What About Us hitmaker has slammed the sexist rules and insisted she d be more than happy to pay the $221 CAD fine The Norwegian Women’s Beach Handball team is facing for wanting to wear shorts.
The current rules state that players cannot cover up more than 10cm on any sides on the bottom.
However, the men s team can wear shorts.

HELSINKI (AP) U.S. pop singer Pink has offered to pay a fine given to the Norwegian female beach handball team for wearing shorts instead of the required bikini bottoms.
Pink said she was “very proud” of the team for protesting against the rule that prevented them from wearing shorts like their male counterparts.

The athletes were fined 150 Euros each for not wearing the customary attire to play at the European Beach Handball Championships bronze medal match earlier this month, and Pink is impressed by their anti-sexism stance.
