Two interconnected restaurants that were the home to a favorite pizza shop in downtown Rehoboth Beach for about half a century now have new owners.
Nicola Pizza sold its two buildings on North First Street and Rehoboth Avenue April 5 for a total of $4 million, according to Sussex County land records.
The buyer is listed as Trahos Capital Investments, a Virginia-based company owned by Michael Trahos. The Trahos family owns a handful of other businesses downtown, including Gus & Gus Place and Dave & Skippy s at the corner of the boardwalk and Wilmington Avenue.
This sale comes after Nicola Pizza first announced its move from downtown Rehoboth to a two-acre property on Coastal Highway near Lewes last summer.
