STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A proposed bill in the New York legislature would mandate coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines if it’s determined that enough state residents aren’t developing immunity.
The bill, proposed by Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal (D-Upper West Side/Hell’s Kitchen), would not include people with medical exemptions, but is unlikely to become law as Gov. Andrew Cuomo has expressed opposition to mandatory vaccinations.
