Leduc wraps up abandoned vehicle enforcement By Al Stafford The city s Enforcement Services department focused on vehicles left on city streets for too long in January.
They are pretty easy to spot at this time of year. Cars and trucks that haven t, for one reason or another, moved in days. They are a little more visible because they have a lot of snow gathered on top of them, said Sgt. Michael Stadnyk, a community police officer with the city s Enforcement Services branch. You get a lot of snowfall, and they look like little igloos out there.
The city of Leduc has received more than one hundred complaints of abandoned vehicles since October 1, 2020.
