Tipperary captain Conor Sweeney has described the “incredible” feeling after winning an All-Star award this morning.
Speaking to Tipp FM Radio this morning, Sweeney said that winning an All-Star is “the pinnacle of every individual players thoughts and dreams”.
“It’s great, it was great news this morning I must say, it really tops off a good year so I’m delighted with the news to be fair,” he stated.
“I suppose it’s probably the pinnacle of any individual award to get an All-Star so I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about it.

Their achievement was particularly poignant as it coincided with the Bloody Sunday 1920 commemorations that were taking place that weekend.
Tipp star Moloney seeks transfer to Clonmel Commercials

Tipperary attacker Emmet Moloney has applied for a transfer to Clonmel Commercials.
The42.ie reports that Moloney has sought a move from his home club Drom & Inch to the county football champions and that his request has been received from the Tipperary county board.
The wing forward featured in all of Tipp’s Munster SFC wins last season, including the county’s historic final victory against Cork. He was also a half-time substitute in the All-Ireland semi-final defeat at the hands of Mayo in December.
Should the transfer go through, it would leave Moloney ineligible to play hurling for Drom & Inch – a side which contested the county senior hurling championship semi-final last year.

TIPPERARY SENIOR FOOTBALLER Emmet Moloney has applied for a transfer to county club champions Clonmel Commercials.
Moloney is seeking to make the move from his home club Drom & Inch with the request having been received by the Tipperary county board.
The 23-year-old featured in all of Tipperary’s senior championship ties in 2020, a season when they claimed a historic Munster final win. He started in the semi-final win over Limerick while coming on as a substit
