‘Be restrained during Christmas celebrations’ - CEO of NYA
Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority and Member of Parliament Elect for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfro Constituency, Mr. Sylvester M. Tetteh, has advised the youth of Ghana to be moderate, well-behaved, and prudent during this year’s Christmas celebrations.
In a goodwill statement to extend his profound greetings to the youth in reveling the period, whilst thanking them for their comportment during the 2020 general elections, Mr. Sylvester Tetteh went on to advise the youth to focus on the real essence of the yuletide which essentially is to recount the birth of the Messiah and admonished them to refrain from all manner of excesses and unproductive behavior.

Founder and General Overseer of the Christ Mediation Ministry International, Prophet Kwaku Opoku Sarpong (Prophet OP) has blamed the President’s failure to build the national cathedral as well as attacks on men of God waged by Assin Central Member of Parliament for the NPP government s woeful performance in the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
According to him, God is not pleased with the manner in which Mr. Kennedy Agyapong deliberately chastised the clergy prior to the elections and described many of them as fake prophets.

Variant opinions regarding election prophecies continue to be expressed following President Akufo-Addo’s victory in the recently held presidential elections, contrary to some prophecies foretelling victory for former president John Dramani Mahama.
The prophecies in the run-up to elections have become a common feature in Ghana’s elections, what is worrying however the different prophecies is projecting victory for different candidates with the accompanying rhetoric from confused Christians, “is God confused?”
The latest to join in the brouhaha is journalist and President of the non-denominational religious group, Kingdom Loyalists Movement, Prophet Oberempong CP who believes that criminalizing election prophecies remains the only way out to dealing with the canker.
UNYA-GH congratulates President-elect Akufo-Addo
The United Nations Youth Association – Ghana (UNYA-GH) has joined others around the country and the world to congratulate newly elected Ghana President, Nana Akufo-Addo and his Vice President-elect, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as they win a nail-biting election.

‘Sack our MCE, he preached skirt and blouse’ – Kpone Katamanso NPP to Akufo-Addo
Aggrieved New Patriotic Party (NPP) members in the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency of the Greater Accra Region want President Akufo-Addo to immediately sack their Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Solomon Appiah Tetteh, accusing him of sabotaging the parliamentary ambitions of the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the area in the just ended presidential and parliamentary elections.
Solomon Appiah Tetteh, according to the constituency executives, polling station executives and some loyal groups accused the MCE of “clandestine schemes and open campaigns” against Mr. Hopeson Yaovi Adorye which resulted in his defeat in the just ended parliamentary elections.
