According to Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess, correctional officers were performing watch patrols around 1:06 a.m., when they located 33-year-old Michael Leroy Reynolds. Burgess said the Indianapolis man, who was being housed alone, was unconscious. Correctional and jail medical staff immediately started CPR and called for medics to respond to the jail. Franklin Fire/Rescue and Seals Ambulance Service arrived and continued CPR for several minutes but the attempts were unsuccessful, Burgess said in a statement.  The inmate was pronounced dead at the jail.
